Beirut like most cities, is a fast changing and often surprising environment. On my most recent trip I have found that many once familiar sights have gone or have been transformed into something new and unfamiliar. As an outsider coming in to witness the sudden changes without seeing the gradual process, I thought it would be wise to document the landscape as it stood it its current state, before anymore change occurred.
The main difference was that I am not taking these pictures from the most conventional places as I wanted to give a slightly new edge to already familiar views.
